Discourses and frameworks can structure or hinder the systemic capabilities of countries to advance the critical SDG agenda.

Of the 47 countries presenting their Voluntary National Review (VNR) during this 2020 session, 24 will present their VNRs for the first time, while 23 countries will present a second or third VNR. I find the VNR sessions very valuable, particularly if you are working or intending to establish partnerships in the country.  You can learn how governments are framing, prioritizing and communicating ‘sustainable development’ to the international community.
